And the winner of the “guess how many kids, win some stuff” contest is Andrea with her guess of 19 kids, 11 bucks, 8 does. Congratulations Andrea! She guessed the number of kids and the mix of bucks and does. It was posted on our facebook page back on January 31st: “I guess that you will need a bigger crib and 19 babies 8 girls and 11 boys” January 31 at 3:08pm

We have pet wethers available for sale! These guys are all 1-2 weeks old, disbudded, up to date on vetting, bottle trained, and cute cute cute! Last year our wethers sold out fast, so please contact us ASAP if you might be interested. Check out the pictures under the goats tab, and click available wethers.

Connie Marble (AKA 1*M AR Kids Corral LB Krystal Blue*D AR pending) kidded last night with a singleton buck. Here he is! That brings the kid total for this year to 16 total, 12 bucks and 4 does. Yes, that’s THREE times more bucks than does. Yikes! We’ve still got two more does left to kid, let’s hope they both have all girls!

Our total kid count now is 15, with 3 does left to kid. We have 11 bucklings and 4 doelings. We will have plenty of adorable wethers for sale in the next week or so.

At 3am this morning our first baby goats of 2011 were born. Jill (Old Mountain Farm Jil Michelle) had two kids, one buck and one doe.
