We had our first group of “test” chickens processed yesterday. \u00a0We’ve been raising them on pasture and organic grain for the last 10 weeks. \u00a0All 26 birds were already sold but we have another 50 birds hatch\u00a0last week. \u00a0We are taking pre-orders and expecting them to be around $6 a pound, depending on how much grass to grain they eat. \u00a0They should be ready in just under 9 weeks, week of Sept 12th. \u00a0If all goes well we would have one more batch this year probably in late October early November.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
